Itinerary

Day 1: New Delhi Arrival

Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be greeted by our representative outside Gate 5 with a name sign. He will welcome you with a garland of flowers and will take you to the hotel in a private car. Upon arrival at the hotel, he will perform check-in formalities. Overnight at the hotel.

DELHI: The Moderna capital of India is also a very ancient city whose origins are lost in legend. Hundreds of monuments adorn it, with its carved and millenary history. From this city numerous Hindu and Muslim dynasties, including the Mughals, ruled India. No less than 7 successive cities existed here before the arrival of the British, who would create, by the hand of Sir Edwin Lutyens, their dream capital.

Day 2: Delhi

Breakfast. At 09:00 hours we will start the visit with a photo stop at the Red Fort, Chandni Chowk is located nearby, in times imperial avenue that Shah Jahan liked to ride along, and from there we will go to, passing through the alleys of old Delhi, Jama Masyid, one of the largest mosques in India, built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the seventeenth century.


Next, we will visit Gandhi's tomb and drive through the New Delhi area to see the India Gate, the Presidential Palace and the parliament. Then we will go to visit the temple of the Sikh religion and we will sit for about 10 minutes in the prayer hall to observe the visitors and listen to the prayer.

Then, a visit to the New Delhi will allow us to discover the Qutab Minar (XII century), gracefully fluted and completely carved by hand on its shaft; nearby is the Iron Column, which has impassively attended to the misfortunes of Time and is not even rusty, after 1500 years of history. Return to the hotel.

Day 3: Delhi – Mandawa

Breakfast. In the morning, about 07:30 Hrs, departure by road to Mandawa.

Mandawa, founded in 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh, small village full of "Havelis", painted on its exterior and keeping the true Rajasthani way of life. Wealthy and dominant merchants built massive havelis, adorned with beautiful wall paintings, for the purpose of their residence.

Arrival and check in at the hotel.

Then visit the most important "Havelis", with their facades painted with motifs of Rajasthani life. The Shekhavati region is also called “Open-Air Art Gallery", because of the large number of frescoes and wall paintings that are in its havelis and mansions.

Dinner and accommodation.

Day 4: Mandawa -Biknaer

Breakfast, in the morning, about 0800 hrs, departure by road to Bikaner. At the exit of Mandawa we will stop in the village of Fatehpur to walk in one of the streets to take photos of the havelis.

Bikaner, the city of Bikaner belongs to the state of Rajasthan, although it was once the capital of the ancient state of Bikaner. It is a fortress city surrounded by walls and built on the basis of red sandstone. It was formerly a strategic place and very important for being the crossroads on the caravan route.

Arrival and continuation, we will take a horse carriage ride to see a part of the city, the Junagarh Fort. The fort was originally called Chintamani and was renamed Jūnāgadh or "Old Fort" in the early 20th century when the ruling family moved to Lalgarh Palace outside the fort boundaries. It is one of the few important fortresses in Rajasthan, which is not built on a hill. The Moderna city of Bikaner has developed around the fortress. Transfer to the hotel and check in.

Day 5: Biknaer – Jodhpur

Breakfast. At 08:00 hours, departure by road to Jodhpur, it takes 5 hours approx.

Upon arrival, we will visit the Jaswant Thada mausoleum famous for the cenotaphs that reflects the life of the royal families.
Next, we will visit the Mehrangarh Fort, a UNESCO world heritage site, the most important in Rajasthan, the Maharaja's Palace and the Mehrangarh Museum.
We will walk down to the clock tower to see the local market.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Jodhpur – Pushkar

Breakfast. In the morning, about 0800 hrs, departure by road to Pushkar.

Pushkar means "born because of a flower". Hindu mythology tells that God released a swan with a lotus flower in its beak and it released the flower on earth where Brahma could perform his great work.

Arrival and check-in at the hotel.

In the afternoon, guided tour of the temples in Pushkar, where the only temple dedicated to God Brama (the creator God according to Hindu mythology) and the sacred ghats of the holy lake of Pushkar stand out.

Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 7: Pushkar – Jaipur

Breakfast. In the morning, about 0800 hrs, departure by road to Pushkar.

Day 8: Jaipur - Amber Fort - Jaipur

Breakfast. In the morning, we will drive through the residential and business areas of the "pink city", passing in front of the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), one of the most well-known monuments of Jaipur. Next, we will go to Amber Fort, the former state capital until 1728. A unique experience: we will climb on the backs of elephants to access the top of the hill on which the fort stands.

Then, sightseeing tour of Jaipur (which takes its name from Maharajah Jai Singh, prince and astronomer, who designed and founded the city in 1727). We will get to know the astronomical observatory that the monarch himself built, equipped with instruments designed by himself, of considerable size, and whose precision is difficult to match even today. We will also visit the Maharaja's Palace, former royal residence and nowadays museum of manuscripts, Rajput and Mughal paintings and weapons. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 9: Jaipur - Monkey Temple - Abhaneri - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra 236 KMS

Breakfast. In the morning, departure at 07:30 hours to Agra visiting en route the monkey temple called galtaji, the Abhaneri stepwell and Fatehpur Sikri
ABHANERI - This is Chand Baori a famous stepped well located in the village of Abhaneri near Jaipur in the state of Rajasthan. It is located in front of the Harshat Mata Temple and is one of the largest and deepest in India. It was built in the 9th century and has 3300 steps, 13 levels and 100 feet deep.

Rebuilt in the 10th century, the incredible Chand Baori stepped well was a practical solution to the water problem in this area of India, where the arid climate forced the local inhabitants to make deep excavations in search of underground streams. According to a legend, the building was built by ghosts in a single night.


FATEHPUR SIKRI: Just over 40 kms from Agra is the dead city of Fatehpur Sikri, built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned due to his inability to provide it with a water supply. The buildings of the city are incredibly preserved, notably the Jama Masjid Mosque, the tomb of Salim Chisti, the Panch Mahal and other places.
Arrival in Agra and check-in at the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 10: Agra - Final Departure

Early in the morning, visit including one of the most important monuments in the world, the Taj Mahal, a hymn to love built by Emperor Shah Jehan in 1630 to serve as the mausoleum of his queen, Mumtaj Mahal. This architectural wonder is a proportioned masterpiece, entirely erected in white marble. Artisans coming from Persia, the Ottoman Empire, France and Italy took, helped by 20,000 workers, 17 years to complete it (ATTENTION: THE TAJ MAHAL CLOSES ITS DOORS ON FRIDAYS, A MUSLIM HOLIDAY).

Breakfast.

About 1200 hrs, check-out and departure by road to Delhi International Airport to catch your return flight.
