Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Madrid

Arrive at Madrid airport and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Madrid Tour

Breakfast at the hotel. Discover the beauties of the city with a guided city tour. Barrio de la Morería, the Hapsburgs District, Plaza Mayor, and Plaza de la Villa; the Madrid of the Bourbons and the complex town planning schemes of Charles III, the Royal Palace, Cibeles and Neptuno Fountains and the Puerta de Alcalá. Contemporary Madrid with areas such as Gran Vía, Castellana, the district of Salamanca, as well as commercial and financial areas of Modern Madrid, and the Santiago Bernabéu Football Stadium. Afternoon at leisure to continue exploring the wonders that the city has to offer. Join your fellow travelers for an authentic Welcome Tapas Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3: Madrid - Caceres - Cordoba

Breakfast at the hotel. Bound for Andalusian soils, drive to Caceres, considered a World Heritage site because of the city’s blend of Roman, Islamic, Northern Gothic, and Italian Renaissance architecture. Walk through its Plaza Mayor and the Old Town with its famous Medieval Quarter. We continue towards Cordoba, once the capital of the Caliphate.

Day 4: Cordoba - Seville

Breakfast at the hotel. Discover the impressive tour of Cordoba´s Mosque (entrance included) and other sites that will ease our minds and spirits strolling through the narrow winding streets of the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, continue your journey towards Seville.

Day 5: Seville

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning city tour of the Andalusian Capital, Seville. Visit the Cathedral, the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peters in Rome. Continue to Santa Cruz quarter, the natural scenario of Carmen and the myth of Don Juan; continue to Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España. Afternoon is at leisure for you to enjoy the city of light.

Day 6: Seville - Ronda - Costa Del Sol

After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive south passing through typical Andalusian villages to reach Ronda. Enjoy some free time to admire this town of Celtic origin and the marvelous view of the valley and mountain range. We continue our journey with an authentic Olive Oil Experience at a local Almazara, LA Organic. Walk through their olive tree fields and taste their organic olive oil production. Bound for the beautiful Spanish Mediterranean coast, we will continue to Costa del Sol.

Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure for you to enjoy the wonderful beaches of the Costa del Sol and surrounding areas.

Day 8: Costa Del Sol – Tarifa - Tangier - Casablanca

After breakfast at the hotel drive along the picturesque tourist route of Costa del Sol, and arrive at Tarifa where a ferryboat will be used for a short and interesting crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar towards Africa. Arrive in Tangier, disembark clear customs, and drive southwards to Casablanca, the current industrial and economic capital and the most populated city housing 10% of the country's population. Time at leisure.

Day 9: Casablanca - Marrakech

Breakfast at the hotel. Panoramic tour of the most interesting places in the city, such as the United Nations Square, the Boulevard de la Corniche, and the Hassan II Mosque. Departure to Marrakech and complete visit that begins in the magnificent Menara Gardens, which has a side pavilion and countless olive trees. Afterward, visit the outside of the Koutoubia Tower, the twin tower of the Giralda in Seville. Once inside the old part of the city, there is a visit to the Bahía Palace, owned by a nobleman from the city. Finally arrive at the Jmaa el Fnaa square, one of the most interesting places in Morocco from where you can access the souks and the medina. Guilds of wood, ceramic, furriers, or spice artisans will be some of the places that will be visited. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. Optionally dinner and show at “Fantasia Chez Ali”.

Day 10: Marrakech - Rabat - Meknes - Fez

Breakfast and early departure to Rabat. Visit the capital of the country, Rabat. Visit the exterior of the Royal Palace, the Mohamed V Mausoleum, and the Hassan Tower. Continue to the Imperial City of Meknes, where you will visit the Walls of Bab el Mansour and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the only mosque in all of Morocco where non-Muslims are allowed. Arrive in Fez.

Overnight in Fez.

Meals: Breakfast / Dinner.

Day 11: Fez

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a morning city tour of the most ancient and monumental of the Imperial Cities visiting the most interesting points: the 7 gates of the Royal Palace, Jewish Quarters or Mellah, gate of Bab Bou Jelous, and a walking tour of the “Medina” (Old City), declared World Heritage Site. Afternoon free. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. Optional dinner with show.

Day 12: Fez - Tangier - Tarifa - Costa Del Sol

After breakfast at the hotel departure to Tangier, transfer to the pier to board the ferry to return across the strait of Gibraltar back to Spain. Drive towards the Costa del Sol.

Breakfast. Day at leisure for you to enjoy the wonderful beaches of the Costa del Sol and surrounding areas.

Day 14: Costa Del Sol - Granada

Enjoy your daily breakfast at the hotel and depart to one of our favorite jewels in Spain, Granada. With its breathtaking monumental environment, we will visit the world-famous Alhambra complex (entrance included) and Generalife Gardens. After some time at leisure, join your fellow travelers to experience the most authentic Gypsy Flamenco show including dinner.

Day 15: Granada - Toledo - Madrid

Breakfast at the hotel. Bound for the impressive Imperial city of Toledo, World Heritage City, where the three cultures, Christians, Moorish, and Jewish, have lived together for centuries. Enjoy a guided city tour of this historical old town through its narrow streets. Continue to Madrid.

Day 16: Fly to Cairo

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Madrid airport.
Welcome to the mystical lands of Egypt, where the Pharaohs ruled for thousands of years. Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, your tour manager will meet and assist you and ease the process by helping you to get the entry visa. You will then be escorted through the bustling streets of Cairo in an exclusive air-conditioned vehicle. Once you reach your chosen hotel according to your accommodation plan whether it will be overlooking the Great Pyramids of Giza like Hilton Pyramids Golf Hotel or in Khan El Khalili, like Le Riad Luxury Boutique Hotel, your tour manager will assist you with your check-in and double-check your itinerary with you to establish and confirm all the pick-up times for all your activities during your trip.

Day 17: Pyramids and Cairo Sightseeing

After enjoying a delicious wholesome breakfast at your hotel, your guide will take you to the Giza Plateau to start your journey by marveling at one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Great Pyramids of Giza. Walk or take a camel over to the iconic Sphinx and Valley Temple. After your pyramids visit, you’ll go for lunch at an authentic Egyptian restaurant and then head over to the Egyptian Museum, in the heart of historic Downtown Cairo, overlooking the renowned Tahrir Square. After relishing over the magnificent ancient Egyptian artifacts and treasures, you will be driven through Old Cairo to arrive at the historic Islamic Cairo area where you will explore the vibrant, meandering, treasure-filled alleys of Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s oldest bazaar, if there is time.

Day 18: Fly to Luxor - East Bank Sightseeing

Today, you will be leaving Cairo and heading out to the shining city of Luxor. You will meet your tour manager early in the morning at your hotel where he will accompany you to Cairo International Airport for your trip to Luxor. Upon landing in Luxor, you will be assisted and whisked away in an exclusive air-conditioned vehicle to board your luxurious Nile cruise, Salacia that will offer you a unique experience cruising on the Nile with high-quality service, gastronomy, and accommodation during your stay. Enjoy a delicious lunch on board before heading out to your first stop in Upper Egypt which is visiting Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple at the East Bank. Return to your cruise and enjoy a warm and hand-crafted dinner.

Day 19: West Bank Sightseeing

Enjoy your first breakfast on board your cruise surrounded by the calm waters of the Nile. After breakfast, head out to explore the West Bank of Luxor. Visit the Royal Cemetery for 62 Pharaohs, the Valley of the Kings, and then head to the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by the architects of the New Kingdom during the 15th century BCE at Deir El-Bahari. Finish the day as you marvel at the towering Colossi of Memnon. After finishing your visits at the West Bank, return to your cruise and start sailing to Edfu while enjoying a delicious lunch on board. Relax the rest of the day as you sail; take advantage of the amazing facilities of your cruise; enjoy some afternoon tea, get a massage, and de-stress in the Jacuzzi. End the day with an appetizing dinner on board.

Day 20: Edfu and Kom Ombo

Enjoy a mouth-watering breakfast on board your cruise as you sail to Edfu. Upon arrival, head out and visit Edfu Temple, one of the best-preserved temples of the Greco-Roman era, that of Horus at Edfu. Enjoy a magnificent experience as you take a horse-drawn carriage ride back and forth to the temple and marvel at Upper Egypt’s local life. Pass through the slow-paced, rural life of the local farmers and fishermen. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking lush, fertile landscapes dotted with banana and date palm trees. After your visit, head back to your cruise and start sailing to your second stop of the day, Kom Ombo.
Touch down on the shores of Kom Ombo and walk through the town of Kom Ombo among the locals of the town until you arrive at the unusual Kom Ombo temple with its two identical entrances, hypostyle halls, and sanctuaries. After your visit, head back to your cruise where you will enjoy an appetizing lunch while sailing to Aswan. As the day comes to an end, enjoy a warm, delicious dinner surrounded by the calm, serene water of the Nile River.

Day 21: Aswan Sightseeing

Enjoy yet another delicious breakfast on board as you sail to the colorful city of Aswan. Upon arrival, head out and enjoy a day of sightseeing in this beautiful city, meeting the kindest kind of locals. Start with visiting the famous High Dam and then head to the massive Unfinished Obelisk, still resting on its side in the stone quarries of ancient Egypt. After, you will go on to the beautiful Temple of Philae, devoted to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor. After your visits, you will head back to your cruise and enjoy an appetizing dinner in the middle of the Nile surrounded by its beautiful waters.

Day 15: Fly to Cairo - Optional Tour to Abu Simbel

After breakfast, disembark your cruise and get transferred to Aswan Airport to catch your flight back to Cairo where you will be met upon arrival and transferred to your hotel for your last night in the Land of Pharaohs.

Day 23: Cairo - Fly Back Home

Enjoy a deliciously prepared breakfast at your hotel and then head out and roam the streets of the beautiful capital, Cairo. Spend some free time at your leisure; take a walk, chat with some locals, or have some Egyptian tea at a local café. As your flight nears, you will be transferred through the buzzing streets of Cairo to Cairo International Airport for your final departure back to your homeland.
