Fabolous tour
, 1/4/23

The tour was fabulous. They hit all the hotspots and made it very enjoyable. There was an ample amount of time at each historic site so that was very beneficial for me and my husband. We loved being able to take our time in discovering and exploring each site.

Egypt with Memphis Tour
, 11/5/22

We have hired the agency Memphis Tour and we had all the support necessary for everything, anytime. During 8 days, we had with us all the time people from Memphis who made us feel very safe. All the drivers were very good, which is important because the traffic in Egypt is crazy. Our Nile Cruise (Alyssa Boat) was perfect. The staff was very helpful and polite.

“Memphis Tours review - Abdo Younis”
, 12/12/13
Abdo Younis at Memphis Tours has done a fantastic job planning our upcoming trip to Egypt. He arranged all international and domestic air and ground travel, as well as all excursions, transfers and cruise details. Abdo even made arrangements for travel to and from a resort we booked ourselves through our timeshare. I was concerned how all of this would come together but he took care of everything. And he did it in just a few days keeping us informed at every step. Truly a professional job!

Couldn't have asked for me
, 4/5/12

From the moment we were collected at the airport, Memphis Tours were fantastic. Attentive, well organised, thoughtful, safety conscious, informative and punctual (a rarity in Egypt!). We took the cruise from Luxor to Aswan on Al Jamila with Yasser as our guide. Ask for him if you go, he was excellent as were Emad in Luxor and Hassan and Mostafa in Aswan. Thank you to all of you for making our holiday unforgettable.

“Great service makes my day.”
, 6/19/10
Memphis Tours is an excellent agent which has made my days in Egypt quite convinient and enjoyable by providing great services such as making excellent trip arrangements and arranging great tour guides. I like my guides very much and I had a great time with them. I've made friends with them and we still contact to each other. My English guide Sayed Selim is really good, he is kind, humorous and very thoughtful. I strongly recommend him to you in wish that you can have a better trip.

“Sayed Selim, our incredible Egyptology guide makes our day”
, 6/9/10
The two things that makes our vacation trip to Egypt (Luxor to Aswan, Cairo) very enjoyable and incredible are the professional backroom Memphis Tours consultant (Abdo) and our extremely knowledgeable plus humorous Egyptology guide, Sayed Selim because he make us feel safe and he is attentive to our needs.
If we go back to Egypt in the near future, I will use Sayed as my preferred tour guide anytime and I will recommend Sayed ([--]) to anyone going to Egypt, especially Luxor to Aswan.

We booked a 7D/6N private tour, Fly & Nile Cruise from Cairo fly to Luxor to join a Nile cruise, MS Mojito to sail to Aswan. Plus an optional private tour to Abu Simbel that leave Aswan at 4am in the morning and return by noon on the same day.
We arrived end May, which is the beginning of Summer in Egypt, so the temp can goes up to 42degC at noon, night about 25degC. This make Nile Cruise an excellent choice, cooler next to a river. The other plus point is that we can get up close and personal at all the historical locations with our guide, no need to fight the crowd. All the planned tours start early morning, would finished at around noon. In the late afternoon you could visit the museum(s) on shore.

The beauty of a private tour is that we have the undivided attention of a tour guide, as he accompanied us throughout the Nile Cruise and to all the historical sites, till we fly back to Cairo from Aswan. You can appreciate why having a professional knowledgeable Egyptology guide like Sayed Selim with a great sense of humor is very important here.

MS Mojito, is a cosy Nile Cruise ship, staffed by professional. The breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet are reasonably good quality. The drinks (include bottled water) are charged at double the shore price. The room are clean and they have a window that can be opened. This is a plus for us, as we could enjoy the cool breeze in the evening while the cruise is sailing on the Nile.

Points to note are, Memphis Tour staff are very professional and punctual. And if you don't like to be taken on shopping trips in between tours, you must tell your guide from the very beginning you met up with him. Then you will a wonderful exceptional experience like we do in Egypt.

Many thanks to the Memphis Tours team, Abdo (tour consultant, handling booking), Ahmed (tour leader at Luxor), Hamada (tour leader at Cairo), Mohamed (tour guide at Cairo) and Sayed Selim (tour guide from Luxor to Aswan).
Job well done, everyone!

Memphis Tours - good experience
, 5/17/10
We (my 13 year old son and I) recently did a one week tour of Egypt through Memphis Tours and found them to be very friendly, helpful and quite well organised. There were some problems with our hotel bookings in Cairo which gave us a negative first impression but after that they worked very hard to make the trip work, and it did. Our guides in Cairo and Luxor (Mahmood and Jasmine) were excellent, and our tour operator in Cairo, Zidan was extremely helpful and went out of his way to show us Cairo and help with arrangements.
If you book with them, check details carefully, make sure the hotels are the ones you want and the travel timings will work for you - and double check the room access times!
Enjoy!

Great tours, flexible schedules, and great guides at good prices
, 4/26/10
I booked a 1 week tour of Egypt for April 2010, 1 person, via memphistours.net (also Memphistours.com). The tours they offered looked great, they were very flexible on schedule/tours, and the prices were very reasonable.

The only thing better than the web site was the tour itself. From my greeting at the airport, to the guides in Cairo and along the Nile cruise, everything was done with the client in mind. Transportation and guides were excellent - providing me with great tours, history, advice, and local color.

In Cairo, my tour group was me - plus the guide and driver. Along the Nile, I was joined by two other people for the tours. No waiting for dozens of others to get off/on the bus/boat. Because of the small size, the guides were able to customize the tours in time and our interests (and we didn't have to go to perfume and alabaster stores...).

I had a great time!

100% trustworthy travel agent with perfectly organized Egypt tour
, 12/31/09
My girl friend and I stayed for one week in Egypt visiting Cairo and going on a boat cruise from Aswan to Luxor. After exchanging many e-mails with a tour operator at Memphis Tours we decided to go with them - and didn't regret it at all. The entire tour was perfectly organized. Most important we felt that we could trust them. We paid 50% by credit card a few weeks before we went to Egypt. We left our cameras in the car when it wasn't allowed to take photos at some places. And we always knew that someone waits for us and picks us up when we arrived at an airport. We can easily recommend Memphis Tours to anyone interested in visiting Egypt.

Had a smooth and relaxing vacation - great service
, 12/9/09
My wife and I recently vacationed in Egypt (Cairo and a Nile river cruise), and Memphis Tours provided guides to help us. I found the level of service to be excellent. Guides greeted us at the airport, were always on time to pick us up for a daily tour, had our exhibit entry tickets ready for us, were flexible and diverted to other destinations whenever we wanted, and always provided comfortable transportation. I recommend visiting the Nubian museum at the Edfu stop along the Nile - to see some previously untold stories about Egypt there.

Yes, there were a couple of minor glitches - one of the busses broke, so they had to arrange a substitute car and driver - but everything was handled smoothly. We complained about one noisey night in a hotel, and they moved us into another, fancier hotel - penthouse suite - pretty nice rebound.

I recommend this company. They know how to provide first-class service in Egypt, and their guides are knowledgeable and friendly. We had a very nice vacation, with no worries, thanks to Memphis.
