The itinerary was well-planned, with plenty of time to explore the ancient temples and tombs along the river. Overall, it was an unforgettable journey, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and culturally-rich vacation.

I just came back from a 5 day trip in Egypt. I cruised the Nile and explored history to it's fullest. I had arranged a Nile cruise before hand with Memphis tours and they shined beyond any description. From the moment we landed in Luxor , Mr. Awad greeted us with a huge smile and introduced us to Robert the very qualified tour guide on the boat. Even our waiter Ahmed could inspire any teenager to learn arabic. I feel like my eyes have been opened and life has taken once again another turn after going back in time. It is time to turn off the tv's and discover all the history that Egypt has to offer.

We booked our Egypt trip when quite a bit of political instability was reported in the country (Dec 2012). But we had the most incredible trip of our lives. Memphis Tours arranged for everything, even last minute deviations from plans. We had 6 children with us (from 6 to 18) but the tour guides were with us the entire time and adjusted their tours to accommodate our family. The cruise on the Nile was incredible. Memphis Tours provided extra security for us, but we didn't see anything to cause us concern. I was quite confident that our safety and security was their top most concern. The big advantage of going to Egypt now is that there are no waiting for most things to see. We walked right in to the most famous tombs in the Valley of the Kings. I highly recommend Memphis Tours.

Was so very pleased of the service and quality level Memphis tours provided. We especially LOVED our tour guide, Mohamed. Only slight complaint is regarding Sonesta and their food quality. They ran out of certain things (multi grain bread, chicken on 2 occasions and food was average to below average compared to other 5 star ships we have been on. The menu's were very repetitive, also. We do understand as the # of guests is so low that they do have to cut costs somewhere. The service and ship itself was wonderful, however.
We will certainly recommend Memphis and look forward to an Egypt trip in the future, perhaps Cairo, Alexandria and Giza will be a future trip we will look at.

“Amazing Honeymoon”

I booked a Nile cruise with Memphis tours from Aswan to Luxor, before we went on trip everything back come was telling me to cancel it is not safe. I am so glad we went we had a fantastic time and we both fell in love with Egpyt. Memphis were professional from the start, all the way through the entire trip. The drivers and reps were very polite and spoke every good English. The icing on the cake was when we arrived in Aswan after an 8 hour trip, our room had been upgraded to a suite which was so big you could live in it.

It was a shame everywhere was so quite but is was great for us as we felt like VIP and is 100% safe, our tour guide on the boat Alaa was amazing he was like a history teacher and went the extra mile for us to understand what each sign meant on every temple.

Thank you for making our honeymoon a dream come true, if anyone is looking to do a trip in Egpt Memphis tours is a must

we recently did a cruise on the Sonesta St George boat. It was the best experience and didn't want to leave! our tour guide Yasser was more than helpful and knowledgeable with everything we did. all the staff where willing to go above and beyond and we cant thank them enough. with tourisim down at the moment we had sites basically to our selves and there was only 10 on the boat! thanks again!

Related to my comment on my trip in July, I would strongly advise to go around Egypt only with tour guide. Memphis tours has got not only good, but all excellent guides I was around with on African Dreams, Sonesta St.George and in Luxor. Unfortunately I cannot call their names, but I remember on Yosri (the main organizer) - you are lucky if you get your tour organized by him - and A.Elsawy.

A very efficient and reliable company

We booked some train tickets from Cairo to Aswan and a Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor on the Sonesta St. George with Memphis tours and found them 100% professional and efficient from beginning to end. Our train tickets were delivered to our hotel in Cairo when we were told they would be, the price for the Nile cruise was far less than the price offered on the Sonesta website for what we believe was the same product, and Ahmed Friday, the guide provided by the company for the duration of the cruise, was courteous, informative, punctual and helpful. Although we are generally independent travellers and were a little wary of booking a cruise with a set program, we were very glad we did. The sights in this part of Egypt are so spread out and numerous, that it was good to have someone knowledgeable to organise this for us. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time in Egypt. We much enjoyed the visits to Aswan, Luxor and in between. The temples are just amazing with so much history in them, the contact with local people was a great experience and the travel to Luxor and Aswan was timely and as promised.
The Aswan to Luxor Nile cruise was absolutely wonderful, a trip of a lifetime. The service was first class. The guide there was also very helpful and together with the other tourists in our party we much enjoyed the history briefings, the discussions and the visits. Recommended.

We were a family of 5 who began our holiday in Sharm. Abdo Shawky was excellent in the preceeding months in working through an A rated itenary. Ahmed at Sharm deserves special mention, he even gave us a wake up call to catch our early morning flight to Luxor. He resolved our difficulties, and made our stay in Sharm one to remember. Everything recommended like the yacht trip to ras mohamed and the alf wa leila wa leila show and the bedouin dinner was fantastic. On the Aswan to Luxor Cruise we explored so many sites guided by Ala who to me was a walking, talking archaeologist...just for us. H shared so much about the history of the country, the culture the people .. answered every question. He utilised every minute with us to make our cruise and site visits an adventure we will never forget. We spent a day in Cairo also with very proficient staff.

We used Memphis tours for a Nile cruise on the Sonesta St George and had the most incredible experience. From the booking process through to the end it was easy and all the staff were very helpful, we even ended up with an upgrade and provided accommodation for the end of our trip. Even when our flight was delayed, everybody went out of their way to make the trip as smooth as possible. A special mention to Fatima and our guide Yasser. I will be recommending these guys for anyone wanting to travel in Egypt.

Great Nile curise and Cairo tour

I had 3N4D Nile cruise (Sonesta St. George) and 1 day Cairo tour with 23 of my group provided by Memphis tour. I had many kids in my group from 6 families. It was very hot season, however the trip was great. Tour guide on cruise (Alaa) has vast knowledge and very kind. During hot month of Ramadan, without any drop of water, he provide the best guide for us. Touring Cairo was impressive not only because of the great pyramids and museum but also because of the comprehensive guide (by Nesserin). I met very nice people there. I can tell that traveling Egypt during holy month of Ramadan is not bad as people thinks. It was great. I could see the Ramadan is being unfolded. It was great experience. Curise and Cairo toure are ideal itinerary for Ramadan period. (Traveling in winter would even be better!) I would like to recommend Memphis tour and people who served us: Alaa, Nesserin, Mohamed and Fatima.

Don't dare miss Aswan and Luxor with Alaa Elsaway

My family and I just returned from Egypt on February 27. Words cannot detail the amazing time we had there. My sister, nephew, four year old daughter and I are forever changed by this trip. This was in large part due to our guide Alaa Elsaway. He showed us all the hidden gems to be found in Aswan an Luxor. He made the Nile River cruise fascinating by giving us a history lesson that only a Griot could tell. His knowledge of the sites, Karnak, Edfu and Luxor temple was spellbinding. I was wondering how so much knowledge could fit in one head. He is also great with kids. When we were picked up by a Memphis Tours van at our next stop, my daughter screamed with joy, Alaa. Apparently, she recognized how awesome he was too.

My husband and I just get back from 7 days in Egypt,We have such a wonderful time.
Sayed Selim who was fantastic and charming and informative made our vacation really enjoyable.
He was very knowledge, answering our questions and spoke excellent English.
Our accommodations on the boat were very comfortable and the staff was excellent welcoming and friendly. We very much enjoyed.we visited Karnak and Luxor temple, then sailed to Edfu and Kom Ombo,and Aswan City.

Overall our experiences were superb, and we would definitely recommend Memphis tours to our friends and family,I'd recommend our guide Sayed Selim to anyone traveling to Egypt.

The hotels reserved for you (Movenpick Aswan and Luxor Sonesta) were excellent.
The cruise on the Nile was very good and our excellent guide Eat made our trip very pleasant and culture. During six days we visit High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk, Botanical Gardens, the ruins of Abu, the Temples of Philae, Kom Ombo, Edfu, Luxor, Karnak, Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Nobles.
Transfers and local representatives worked correctly and timely.
We just have to thank Maged Al Gohary, our friendly and efficient tourism consultant, having provided us with excellent holiday. I will recommend you to all our friends who want to go to Egypt.

My boyfriend and I booked a tour of the Nile Cruise with Memphis Tours. Our tour guide was Dr. Salem who was very accommodating. He allowed us to enjoy our time on and off the boat and ensured us that everything would be taken care of (and it was). Dr. Salem was very knowledgeable on all of the temples we visited and could answer any questions we may have had. His kindness, patience, and assistance made our trip that much more relaxing and enjoyable. He went above and beyond what we expected to receive from our time on this tour and we would highly recommend booking with Memphis Tours and would definitely recommend having Dr. Salem as your tour guide.

My girl friend and I stayed for one week in Egypt visiting Cairo and going on a boat cruise from Aswan to Luxor. After exchanging many e-mails with a tour operator at Memphis Tours we decided to go with them - and didn't regret it at all. The entire tour was perfectly organized. Most important we felt that we could trust them. We paid 50% by credit card a few weeks before we went to Egypt. We left our cameras in the car when it wasn't allowed to take photos at some places.
