Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival Kigali - Welcome to Rwanda

Upon arrival at Kigali international airport, you will be met by our representative outside the customs and immigration hall. He will then introduce you to your driver guide who will transfer you to your hotel in Kigali(15min drive).On arrival at the hotel, you will check-in followed by dinner at your hotel.

DAY :2-Transfer to Musanze visit Ibyi Iwacu / Ex-Poacher’s Village

This morning after breakfast at 08:00am, start your safari in Rwanda by Kigali city tour and enjoying a scenic transfer to musanze with several stop overs for photography (2h30min drive). On arrival, you will check-in at your lodge followed by lunch. Thereafter, visit Ibyi Iwacu Cultural Village.


IBYIWACU CULTURAL VILLAGE is changing traditional perceptions of what constitutes tourism by turning fate into fame through sharing various aspects of rural cultures and livelihoods into tourist attractions and creating income-generating activities for rural poor people that have lived on bushmeat, poaching for generations. The village provides tourists experiences beyond wildlife viewing, the people, culture and how they live.

The village also gives a chance to the visitors to enjoy the eight different local dances, listen to Gorilla songs, local food preparations, visit the local healer, visit the king’s place and get to hear all the old stories. After the cultural entertainment, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Overnight at Da Vinci Gorilla Hotel

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking

Today your day begins with an early – 06:00 am – drive to the Volcanoes National Park offices for Gorilla Trekking briefing that takes place at 7:00 am. You will then start your walk at 8:00 am.


Volcanoes National Park protects the steep slopes of this magnificent mountain range and is the home of the rare mountain gorilla and the rich mosaic of montane ecosystems, which embrace evergreen and bamboo forest, open grassland, swamp, and heath, but the high point will be spending an hour with the remarkably peaceful gorillas despite their size and appearance as they go about their daily life, feeding, playing, resting and raising their young. Day 4: Kigali - Fly Back Home

The next day you are free to enjoy leisure activities before departing for Kigali. The route takes you through scenic plantations lush green hills, before arriving in Kigali for your departure.
