Back in 2015, the garden was awarded the Moselle Award as the New Garden Experiences of the year, which were offered by the Garden Tourism Award 2015. Dubai Miracle Garden is considered the largest natural flower garden in the world, comprising over 50 million spice of flowers and 250 million types of plants. The project was executed by the Akar Landscaping and Agriculture company, with the leadership of Abdel Naser Rahal, the Jordanian businessman, in a cost reached about $11 million USD.
The project was as a result of the collaboration of the Dubailand and the Dubai Properties Group destination, under the agreement with Akar landscaping and Agriculture Company. The project construction passed with various steps. The first phase was ready in 2 months by the hands of 400 workers. Then, the second phase was started in mid-June and completed in October 2013. The final marvelous construction was gifted with retail stores, the floral clock, and the spectacular Dubai Butterfly Garden. Following the romantic theme of the attraction, its opening was in the Valentine’s Day 2013, being awarded by the Garden Tourism Award in 2015.
Generally, the expenditure on the project amounted to $11million, which is AED 40million — ensuring that the destination wins your heart with its exceptional beauty. In 2013, the first phase of the project was launched, which occupied 21,000sq.ft.This phase of the project took two months and over 350 workers to complete, but the results were worth the toil.
The gradual development of the project in phase two, which kicked off in June 2013, included about 71% expansion and the construction of the car, increasing the total area of the garden to nearly 2 million sq. Ft. Phase two included the addition of the floral clock, retail stores, mosques, and, most importantly, the butterfly garden.
When it comes to ensuring the garden remains outstanding always. The flowers are maintained using drip irrigation with the reuse of treated wastewater. On average, 757,082 liters are used in a day to keep the flowers flourishing. As a creative outreach to the Dubai Miracle Garden, in 2015, Dubai Butterfly Garden was opened, to stand as the largest sanctuary for butterflies.
The Garden inhabits 26 species in more than 15.000 butterflies. Dubai Miracle Garden and Walt Disney Company had an agreement on building the famous Mickey Mouse Topiary that was unveiled in 2018. Flower statues comprising Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and more of Disney Classical Characters. Guinness World Records have stated the biggest flower-construction in the world of an air-bus A380. The structure extends for 18 meters.

The garden has numerous facilities only for its visitors. Some of the facilities include a prayer room, carts for the disabled, first aid room, commercial kiosks, and many more.

The garden is operations from 9:00 am and is closed at 9:00 pm during the weekday, but it opens at 9:00 am and closes at 11:00 pm during the weekends.
