It is a fabulous way to enjoy a night on the Nile while you are in Cairo. So, you are invited to dinner on the Nile Maxim cruising restaurant for two hours sailing trip on the Nile with belly dancer, folklore show, Oriental music and dinner. All the time, you'll be delighted in our Chef's menu along with a selection of Egyptian favourites, made with the freshest ingredients, and prepared to make it a memorable dining experience.

“Cairo - a must for anyone's 'bucket-list'”

My friends and I were delighted with the service we received from Yosri Abdallah and the extended team at Memphis Tours - everything required for our Nile River Dinner Cruise and trip to the Pyramids of Giza was extremely well organised and we had a fabulous time in Cairo - we could not get over how friendly and welcoming everyone is in this huge city. I am glad that we chose to ignore the concerned comments we got from friends and colleagues regarding the wisdom of a bunch of single women visiting Egypt during what is considered a volatile time. We used Memphis Tours to arrange tours for our family of 6 in December 2012. From the start of my dealings with Memphis Tours, they were extremely efficient. The response to my enquiry of where to go and the cost involved was almost instant. Our day spent viewing the Pyramids was amazing with our wonderful tour guide Mahmoud. He was so obliging and informative. It was very nice having a private tour for our family allowing us to go at our own pace. I would highly recommend Memphis Tours to anybody travelling to Cairo.

My family (husband and 2 sons, ages 6 and 7) planned to spend a weekend in Cairo, and Memphis Tours was recommended to us. After only 1 email exchange, Mr. Yosri had planned an itinerary for us that looked great. Payment was easy and safe--we paid 50% by credit card when we booked, and the other 50% Egyptian pounds when we arrived.
We arrived on a Thursday morning, where we were met by Hamada, a Memphis Tour representative. He took us through a quick VISA process, and lead us quickly through customs. It helps not to have check-in luggage, if you can manage it!
We chose to spend a few hours at our hotel resting after the flight, as we went on a Nile River Dinner Cruise that evening. It was a late night for the kids (started at 8pm), but they enjoyed themselves. Music was loud, but the singers were good. The buffet wasn't amazing, but was varied and well-done (vegetables were crisp, fish wasn't dry, chicken was tender). The entertainment was enjoyable (singers, belly dancer, a swirling Dervish dancer) and tasteful. The cruise line that Memphis Tours used was a good one!
The next morning our guide Emad Seleem picked us up at the hotel with our driver Hasan and took us to the Egypt Museum. Emad was knowledgeable and interesting. Because we only had a few hours, he was selective with the parts of the museum that he showed us, as opposed to rushing through everything. He answered questions well, and also accommodated the children with his talks.
On the way to Giza, we toured a Papyrus Museum and a Perfumery Shop. Both were quite interesting, and the guides in these shops were interesting and informative . . . and not pushy. At no point did we feel as if we were being pressured into buying something.
Our tour of the pyramids was wonderful, and was clearly the highlight of our sons' trip. Again, Emad did an excellent job of sharing the history of Ancient Egypt. At every stop, he was upfront about any options that would cost extra (a camel ride and entrance into a pyramid, both of which we took). He gave us great advice about how to handle venders, and we always felt as if we were being well-taken care of.
Our only regret is that we had such a short time in this beautiful country! Without a doubt, our return to Egypt will include Memphis Tours.

My wife and I have just retuned from Egypt ,we were hesitant to travel there with the unrest so only booked for 3 days. 2nights Cairo 1 night Luxor. We contacted Memphis tours and arranged the whole time there with them. we arranged all airport transfers a visit to Cairo museum ,Giza pyramids,Nile cruise & dinner another tour in Luxor to Valley of Kings ,Karnak temple and Luxor temple.Always on time to meet us great drivers in the congested traffic Our guide Maha ,a scholar in eygptology and John also educated in this area were fantastic. Thank you for a memorable visit and we both highly recommend Memphis tours

I wanted to thank Memphis Tours for making this holiday really enjoyable!
I love Egypt and have visited 9 times (this was my 5th time in Cairo) but my two girlfriends had never been to Egypt and were slightly apprehensive about going after the recent political unrest. However, we had nothing to worry as Memphis Tours took care of that and organised everything from smooth airport transfers and some fantastic excursions which we all thoroughly enjoyed.
Hussain the tour leader was friendly and very helpful. He was waiting for us in the arrivals hall when we arrived in Cairo and took us to our hotel. He gave us good advice/tips and was equally kind on our return transfer and made a detour so we could pick up some things.
Ahmed our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we really enjoyed both the pyramids tours and coptic cairo tours with him. Ahmed explained everything clearly and gave us all so much information about the places we visited and advised us on other activities we wanted to do whilst in Cairo. He was so patient with the 3 of us, taking our pictures and holding our bags!
My friends and I really enjoyed the Nile dinner cruise excursion, the live music, food and oriental show was superb. The boat is fantastic and beats other Nile dinner cruises I have been on in the past.
We were taken everywhere by a clean a/c mini van. Our driver Kemel was such a lovely man and never complained even when we kept him waiting for ages after the Nile dinner cruise!
Finally, Bassem our tour consultant was absolutely brilliant, He arranged everything for me 24 hrs before i was due to land in Cairo. He customised the tours and ensured we visited everything that we had requested. he rang and emailed me to ensure that I was content with the arrangements and did not let me down!
Memphis tours are very flexible and will do everything to tailor their services to suit individuals. They do fantastic tours and at really good prices. I will definitely recommend and use memphis tours again.

I hope that you and your coworkers are safe there in Cairo. My daughter and I would like to thank you for providing us a tour that we could never of done without you. We were only in Cairo for 32 hours but went to the Pyramids, several shops and stores, dinner on the Nile, The Egyptian Museum, Old Cairo, and the Grand Bazaar as well as being picked up from the airport and dropped back off again at the end of the trip. The guide you provided was knowledgeable and courteous and the driver always there to keep us on task. I would recommend your services without reservation.

Maha was our guide. She was very knowledgeable, fun, and personable. WE learned so much about the Egyptian history, sights, art and archeology as well as current culture. Mohammed M. was the trip coordinator we corresponded with before the trip. Hussain picked us up and we had 2 different drivers (one for each day). All were extremely friendly, reliable, and aimed to please. They also had good camraderie between them. This was was worth the $ for our customized adventure which included the pyramids of Giza, Saqqara, a felucca ride, dune buggy on the desserts around pyramids (so cool!), dinner on a Nile cruise, the Egyptian museum (loved! especially the mummy rooms), overnight at Sheraton in Cairo (definitely recommend), etc.... we won't soon forget our experience thank you Memphis!

My husband and I were in Cairo in late August 2010. We booked 4 tours with Memphis, Full Day Pyramids, Islamic and Coptic Cairo, Sound and Light Show, and a Nile Dinner Cruise. A Memphis representative met us promptly in the lobby of our hotel for each tour. We had a brand new car, a driver and an English speaking guide for each. The driver and guides were very warm people and made us feel extremely welcomed in Cairo. All activities were delivered as promised. I would highly recommend Memphis Tours to anyone going to Egypt. One day when we return, we will use them again. The prices are well worth the services. A special mention to Hamada, Faisal and Maha who went above and beyond for us during our trip!

Thank you Memphis Tours for assisting me in my trip to Cairo, Egypt! My airport transfer, camel ride, and Sound and Light Show was fantastic! Eman was very considerate and helped coordinate my tours. My guide, Mimo, met me at the Cairo Airport and made sure that I arrived at my hotel, the Cairo Marriott on Zamalek, in the middle of the night. Mimo was very easy to find thanks to his pink shirt! :)
The Memphis Tours camel ride was a 2 hour authentic experience and was worth the price! My guide, Mimo, picked me up at my hotel, drove me to the camel ride, and picked me up after the ride was over. Beware of camel rides at the Giza pyramids...they are very costly, short, and you have to haggle over the price. The camel ride with Memphis Tours is the real thing! :)
The Sound and Light Show was AMAZING! Mimo picked me up at the hotel and got excellent seats for the show. He was waiting for me after the show to drive me back to my hotel. Mimo always had a funny story to tell and provided me with lots of information about Cairo.
While visiting Cairo, I also visited the Citadel and enjoyed the Nile Maxim Dinner cruise. I highly recommend these activities!

We had a great time on our tour--we booked both a Nile Dinner Cruise and a camel ride around the pyramids by sunset. Ahmed, our tour guide, was the sweetest guide ever! Would definitely recommend Memphis Tours... :)
