We travelled to Egypt in September this year and had a fantastic time. We contacted various tour companies and found that Memphis was the most professional and responded to us quickly. They were also very accommodating when we made changes (I think we made about 7 changes all up). Right from the moment we were picked up at the airport everything just went smoothly. The drivers and guides were fantastic. Very knowledgeable and they had a great sense of humour. A special thank you goes out to Fady Samaan for at the last minute arranging the quad bike tour near the pyramids and for also arranging to take me to some of the local shops. Also after working hours he was able to find out an answer to a question I had about some of the hieroglyphics. He went above and beyond his duties and no request was too great. The staff are an absolute asset to Memphis tours & would highly recommend them to anyone planning on travelling to Egypt.
Desert Safari on Buggy - Brilliant fun, sights and photos

We went on the desert safari on 19th April and had a great day. Picked up by Mohammed (who was a relaxed and fun guide) at the hotel and had a typical crazy Cairo traffic journey out of the city which was good as we got to see the real Cairo outside the city centre. We then each had a 250cc dune buggy and went out with a guide in the desert. The buggies were excellent and had such a laugh racing over sand dunes, doing skids and jumps – came back with a massive grin and feeling like a 15 year old again. Also got to see a number of Pyramids and sacrificial altar which made for good photos. After washing of the mud and sand we had a Egyptian style lunch which could of fed a bus load of people – If you have a spare day and want to do something different then this is a must!
