Memphis tours representative will pick you up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh at 10:30 pm by a modern air-conditioned vehicle to drive to St.Catheine, takes about 3 hours driving. Start climbing the Moses Mountain begins at 2:00 am and coming down at 7:00 am. Then proceed to visit St. Catherine Monastery which is considered one of the most famous monasteries in the world and it was dedicated to one of Alexander's rulers, Saint Catherine who was tortured to death for the sake of her new faith. When we arrived by plane from Cairo to Sharm airport they met us on time and gave us refreshing cold drinks for our journey. They explained everything clearly and gave us helpful information about what to expect and how things would run. At one point the ATM in the remote region of Catherine did not work and our guide even lent us enough money to pay for our accommodation.
The tour consultant Mohamed was very helpful and professional in assisting us plan our trip via email.
Overall they really delivered what they said, went above and beyond in helping us feel safe and comfortable and at no point were we disappointed by their service.
I’ve had an amazing time in Egypt thus far thanks to the professional crew of Memphis Tours. Abdo, Sakr and Hamada organized everything with such expertise and grace – and I only gave them a days notice! One of the many highlights of the trek was reaching the summit of the 2.5km high Mount Moses in time to witness the sunrise– one of those magical moments that will stay with me forever.
